My original painting showing a favorite winter visitor each year. The colder it gets, the more Bald Eagles we see. Normally the Mississippi River freezes up each winter so the Eagles congregate around the dams so they can catch fish in the open water. This is a view of Lock and Dam #15 and the Government Bridge linking Rock Island, Illinois to Davenport, Iowa shown in the background.
