This scene is along the road to one of my favorite places. Not far from home, near Maquoketa Cave State Park. The road sits up high, offering a great view of the countryside. I like the peacefulness this type scene offers. But we always have to be aware of deer. Several times we have seem them crossing the road. Once, a big buck was running, leaping along side of us in the ditch. It was a great sight to see.
