The American Bison or "Buffalo" is another subject screaming to be drawn. There are so many interesting textures. Starting with the massive head and matted fur, then working towards the tail where it seems to slim down. (Although still very muscular). I photographed this big guy at the Denver Zoo during a family vacation to Colorado.
