Another drawing from the old farm days. This building was home to many generations of hogs. Mostly it was used for sows to give birth to their litters of little pigs. Sometimes it was used to keep feeder pigs, and if there was enough room, some years Dad let me keep my 4-H pigs in part of the building. Usually, they were kept in a small pen just behind the hoghouse. This building was last painted in 1977 (by me) the summer I graduated high school. Dad actually "let me" paint all the buildings that summer with the exception of the barn. Which was way too HIGH for me, thank you!
