This old fence post was just begging me to attempt drawing it. So many textures in old wood. Plus, I was equally intrigued by the grass background. And for extra measure, a robin which I photographed outside our front door. This was a serious challenge to separate the foreground fence/robin from the grass background. A very fun project.
